We now have a white marquee, which doesn’t stand out as much as our old red one,
but it’s much brighter and easier to see our products and $20 notes.

Our youngest daughter discovered Minecraft (www.minecraft.net – user: jasjam360) and drew this giant running gingerbread man chasing an existing Mario! Awesome effort.
It’s getting to the pointy end of the year and orders have started picking up for Christmas. Make sure you get your’s in nice and early so you DON’T MISS OUT!

We’ve been experimenting in our gingerbread lab recently and now have available – by popular demand – a small range of gluten free gingerbread!

No Salamanca Market for us this Saturday, however, we’ll still be under canvas, camping along Tasmania’s wonderful East Coast.
The following week (19/2), we’re on site 44, near the old Printing Authority opposite St David’s Park.
We had a bumper Christmas, blowing away our expectations. Unfortunately we still had to knock back a few late orders despite the fantastic effort by our staff, so remember to order early this year!! A big thanks to all our customers, we hope you enjoyed the festive season.
The website has been updated, mainly the product page showing our new hangsell bags and windowed boxes and a few minor tweaks. Looking to implement an easier online ordering system.
We’ve been accepted as an exhibitor at AGFEST 2011, perhaps we’ll see you there, I’ll be the one staring at the big red tractor if we sell out of gingerbread 
We’ll be at Salamanca Market this Saturday, but not the next one.
We’ve now tested our gingerbread after 5 months in our new bags and the results are very pleasing, with no degredation in quality or flavour. We’ll continue to test over the next few months to accertain if we can safely increase the suggested "best before" date further.
A few months ago, we were approached by a margarine manufacturer and given a sample to trial in our product. A small test batch was produced and blind taste tested around friends and some regular customers, but it left a different feel on the palate. Rest assured, we won’t compromise our delicious gingerbread recipe, despite the margarine being much cheaper than the butter we continue to use.
We’ve started testing new bags for our products which are not only stronger and crumple less, but should extend the current 4 month shelf life out to 7 months! If these trials are successful, it will allow us to start baking earlier in preparation for the extra demand Christmas.
We’re now supplying our biscuits to Animal Asia, an animal welfare charity devoted to the needs of wild, domesticated and endangered species throughout the Asian continent, who are using our specially packaged product to raise money for their Moon Bear Rescue campaign.
The Tasmanian Gingerbread shop in Mertonvale Circuit, Kingston, now stocks a larger range of Stainless Steel cookie cutters and a range of 3D cake tins which can be hired from us to make birthday cakes.
