We made the paper today …

… And the same story was on the TV news the other night,
but they didn’t mention it was Tasmanian Gingerbread either!

Run, run, as fast as you can, it’s (Tasmanian) gingerbread

A HOBART store has revived the time-honoured Christmas tradition of building gingerbread houses.
The Foodstore in Lenah Valley prepared 50kgs of icing for a group of children invited in on the weekend to make their own (Tasmanian) gingerbread house.
‘‘I remember when I was a child we always had a decorative gingerbread house as part of our Christmas Day,’’ The Foodstore co-owner Jonelle Reisenleiter said.
‘‘We want to introduce a little bit of old-world charm to the younger generation.’’
